N&B customer journey
1. Project Launch & Joining the Early Access List
When we launch a new housing project, you can join its early access list. This way, you’ll always receive the latest updates about the project’s schedule and progress directly to your email. At the same time, you’ll also get an N&B Family account.
Our N&B Family community program offers exclusive benefits, content, and services throughout every stage of the customer journey. As a Family member, you’ll be able to reserve and purchase N&B homes before the general public.
2. Pre-marketing, reservation agreement, and the start of personalizing your home
Once pre-marketing begins, early access members get the first opportunity to review floorplans and pricing and reserve an apartment before public sales start.
Reservations are made by signing a reservation agreement through our website. During the pre-marketing phase, it’s a good idea to secure your financing. If you need a mortgage, you can apply for N&B Financing – a safer, more flexible, and more affordable alternative to traditional housing company loans.
3. Sales Agreement & Construction Start
Once the project has received a building permit, it’s time to sign the sales agreement. At this stage, you’ll complete the buyer information in your N&B Family account, review the official sales documents, and confirm the purchase with a secure digital signature. We’ll go through the sales contract and its attachments together.
4. Personalising Your Home
In the digital N&B Studio, you can choose the interior style for your new home from concepts created by our interior architects, as well as select the level of fixtures and equipment. Once saved, your plan can be updated anytime through your N&B Family account. You can start planning your interior and equipment choices immediately after making your preliminary reservation, and during the final sales agreement we’ll go through all your selections together once more.
5. Shareholders’ Meeting
When one quarter of the apartments have been sold, you’ll be invited to a shareholders’ meeting as defined by Finnish housing law. At this meeting, shareholders may elect a construction auditor and auditor to represent them during the building process. We’ll also host a cocktail event where you can meet your future neighbours.
6. Site Visits & Customer Communication
During the construction phase, we’ll keep you updated on progress at the building site. You’ll also receive an invitation to the topping-out ceremony, where you can visit your new N&B home in person for the first time.
Well before completion, you’ll be invited to the pre-handover inspection. Quality is our highest priority, and the inspection gives you the opportunity to ensure your new home is flawless.
7. Grand Opening & Key Handover
You’ll receive detailed information about the key handover schedule and arrangements well before the building is completed, together with an official moving letter. Once the final purchase price and any additional interior or equipment upgrades are paid, you’ll receive the keys to your new N&B home.
We’ll celebrate this milestone together with a Grand Opening event.
8. Resident Handbook & N&B App
The Resident Handbook contains important information and instructions about the housing company, your apartment, its appliances, and everyday living in your N&B home. You can find the handbook directly in the N&B App.
The app also includes a booking calendar for the housing company’s shared facilities and tutorial videos for technical systems such as ventilation.
9. General Meeting & Transfer of Governance
Around three months after completion, we’ll invite you to the governance transfer meeting. At this meeting, the housing company will elect its first resident board, and as an apartment owner you’ll receive important information about housing company management and living arrangements.
10. One-Year Inspection
Although every N&B home is built with great care, there may be issues to correct during the first year of living. At the one-year inspection, we’ll review and fix any findings.
As a new N&B homebuyer, you’re also covered by a statutory 10-year warranty ensuring that construction has been carried out according to good building practice. Normal wear, usage, and ageing are, however, the responsibility of the residents and the housing company.
