Housing company consisting of two buildings and in total 56 unique apartments on own lot in the city center of Turku

We wanted to create a modern quality living environment that emphasizes what is most important in a home: coziness, safety, and moments with loved ones. To ensure that living in a Universum home feels like having your own oasis in the middle of the city, each home was customized with an interior design concept chosen by the resident. The housing cooperative includes amenities such as sauna facilities, a laundry room, a parcel locker, a car wash station, and a piazza-inspired courtyard.

The amenities, construction quality and the services of the house

The common areas of Universum are furnished with high-quality and stylish amenities. The housing cooperative includes laundry facilities with drying rooms and a sauna. Both buildings have convenient elevator access to the secure parking garage equipped with surveillance cameras. The garage also features a washing area, making it easy to wash your car even in winter. Additionally, there is an option to have your own electric car charging station. The stairwells are equipped with motion sensor lighting for added safety, and a digital bulletin board in the lobby displays weather updates and announcements.

The apartments come with integrated Miele appliances, wireless internet, and video intercom systems. Individual cooling systems keep each apartment comfortably fresh. All rooms have floor heating, and the balconies, kitchens, and bathrooms feature dimmable lighting, enhancing the home's atmospheric interior design.

The balcony floors are made of charming wooden planks, and most balconies feature full-height glass enclosures that can be opened. The largest apartments come with electronic screen blinds, allowing you to control the optimal natural light in your home. Enjoy the soft ambiance of recessed LED lights in the balcony ceiling as you watch the sunset in the evening or marvel at the sunrise in the morning.

At Universum, you can enjoy a park-like atmosphere in your own yard. The piazza-inspired courtyard, with its plantings and column lighting, exudes a Southern European vibe.
